Drip tape irrigation system document checklist

Use this reference to request specifications and maintenance documents for the exact offered configuration. No downloadable factory manual is published as a verified asset here.

Documents that make alternatives reviewable

Record to requestCompare on the same basisLimit to resolve
Dimensional datasheetNominal diameter, wall thickness in mil or mm, roll length in ft or m, emitter spacing and connector dimensions.Ask for tolerances and a labeled sample; nominal sizes alone do not prove mating fit.
Hydraulic performance sheetEmitter flow at stated pressure, recommended operating range, lateral length, slope and zone system flow rate in gpm or m³/h.Model and test conditions must match the offer. Field elevation and water supply can change distribution.
Filtration and flushing guideWater source and quality, recommended filtration rating, inspection method, flushing sequence and outlet arrangements.A generic filter label cannot establish protection for unknown sediment or biological loading.
Fertigation compatibility statementProposed material, fertilizer contact conditions, injection arrangement and rinse procedure.Compatibility needs the actual chemical and concentration; obtain supplier confirmation for the application.
Packing and acceptance recordRoll marking, sample identifier, packing count, product revision and inspection responsibilities.Identify who accepts dimensions, discharge and shipment condition before payment or dispatch milestones.

The public irrigation reference supports terminology for applications, flow, pressure and filtration. It is not a supplier endorsement, product certification or performance promise for Field Compass Sourcing.

Review sequence for samples and substitutions

  • Identify the sample

Record supplier, model, diameter, wall thickness, emitter spacing and the proposed order revision. Photograph tape markings and connector engagement so a later offer can be traced to the reviewed configuration.

  • Agree the hydraulic test

Ask the project professional to set pressure, water conditions, lateral setup, sampling locations and collection duration. Record collected volumes and the calculation method. Preserve the measured results alongside the supplier's declared data; a short sample trial does not establish full-field performance.

  • Compare material and operating trade-offs

A thicker wall, different emitter or different filtration arrangement can change purchase price and maintenance work. Evaluate unit cost, usable length, handling, spares, freight and replacement assumptions together. Budget-friendly is a purchasing preference, not proof that an alternative meets the application.

  • Check document applicability

Any claimed test report or certificate must identify the actual product, issuer, scope and date. Do not assume a factory quality-system document certifies emitter performance or that a regional label establishes US suitability. Confirm applicable requirements with the responsible project party.

Review the catalog options and send unresolved technical questions through the inquiry form.

Request the documents for your configuration

Name the proposed tape, connectors and control scope. Include your sample and acceptance questions so they remain linked to the factory quotation.
